- MondayTuesday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
- WednesdayThursday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM 11:00 AM
Pay Rate: $24/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves direct patient interaction clinical procedures and front-office coordination to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients while ensuring a positive patient experience
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Perform venipuncture and assist with blood draws
- Administer vaccines and support clinical procedures
- Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
- Assist with patient scheduling phone calls and front desk operations
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Support both front and back office operations as needed
- Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Occupational Health experience
- Experience in both front-office and back-office settings
Required Skills
- Patient rooming and vital signs collection
- Phlebotomy and specimen handling
- EKG and POC testing
- Scheduling and administrative coordination
- Strong computer and documentation skills
- BLS or CPR certification
