Job Summary
Job Title: Ultrasound Technician (OB/GYN Sonographer)
Location: Atlanta GA 30342
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (40 Hours/Week)
Employment Type: Travel (Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced OB/GYN Ultrasound Technician to support a high-volume outpatient clinical setting in the Atlanta area. This role requires strong proficiency in womens health imaging and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic OB/GYN ultrasound procedures including:
- Anatomy scans
- Dating scans
- Nuchal Translucency (NT)
- Biophysical Profiles (BPP)
- Prepare and position patients ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Accurately document findings and maintain detailed patient records
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care
- Adhere to established clinical protocols and safety standards
- Ensure proper use care and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent outpatient OB/GYN ultrasound experience
- ARDMS certification (OB/GYN specialty required)
- Strong knowledge of fetal anatomy dating NT and BPP procedures
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel assignment experience
- Experience working in high-volume OB/GYN clinic settings
