Job Title: CT Technologist Radiology (Computed Tomography)

- Night Shift: 12 Hours (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Job Summary
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires strong technical expertise knowledge of anatomy and adherence to safety and regulatory standards in a clinical radiology setting.
Key Responsibilities
Imaging & Clinical Duties
- Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnostic interpretation
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy physiology and medical terminology
- Prepare and position patients for procedures
Patient Care
- Monitor patient condition during imaging procedures
- Provide clear instructions and ensure patient comfort and safety
- Respond appropriately to patient needs and clinical situations
Documentation & Systems
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information
- Utilize EMR systems (e.g. Epic) for patient records and workflow management
Compliance & Safety
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Ensure all required licenses and certifications are current
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- At least 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience
- Graduation from an accredited (AMA-approved) Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Active New York State license (required at time of submission)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Submission Requirements
- Candidates must reside outside a 100-mile radius
- All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of submission
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience and training in Radiology/CT imaging
