Job Type: Contract Local or Travel Assignment
Duration: 13 Weeks

Day Shift: 6:00 AM 6:30 PM
(Additional flexibility may be required based on facility needs)
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician supporting patient care through monitoring treatment administration and assistance with daily living activities while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs reporting any changes to the RN or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing and mobility
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Support RNs and interdisciplinary teams in executing patient care plans
- Provide basic wound care and assist with medical procedures as needed
- Educate patients and families on healthcare instructions and follow-up care
- Follow infection control protocols and ensure a safe patient environment
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies within scope of practice
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (state-specific requirements apply)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Strong understanding of basic nursing practices and patient care techniques
- Ability to work under supervision and follow established care plans
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
