As a Security Officer - Large Construction Site Patrolin San Diego CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location where you will conduct routine mobile and on-foot patrols remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and/or escalating concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify authorized access when required and/or assist with visitor and employee screening procedures in accordance with location policies.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence communicating with staff and visitors and/or preparing accurate reports related to incidents patrols and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
