As a Change Control Coordinator you will own and drive through Project Leaders the execution of all product and production changes within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This includes full ownership of deviations New Product Introduction (NPI) and current production changes to ensure they are implemented correctly efficiently and without disruption to safety quality or delivery.
This role plays a pivotal part on the factory floor working directly with project leaders and production teams to ensure changes are properly planned validated and executed. You will serve as the critical link between Engineering Manufacturing and Qualityensuring alignment readiness and successful change adoption across the plant.

How Youll Create Possibilities

Change Control Execution & Ownership (35%)

  • Own end-to-end execution of all change control activities including deviations and current production changes.
  • Validate New Product Introductions (NPI) flow into current QMS systems.
  • Ensure all changes are implemented correctly in production with proper validation documentation and risk mitigation.
  • Lead readiness reviews to confirm alignment across Engineering Manufacturing Quality and Supply Chain.
  • Drive accountability across cross-functional teams to meet change implementation timing and quality expectations.
  • Escalate risks proactively and ensure issues are resolved prior to production impact.

Production Integration & Factory Engagement (25%)

  • Actively engage on the factory floor to ensure changes are executed correctly and sustainably in production.
  • Attend daily production meetings to support implementation of changes and resolve real-time issues.
  • Partner directly with project leaders and area leaders to ensure smooth rollout of engineering and process changes.
  • Validate production readiness including materials test systems documentation and operator instructions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to change implementation.

NPI & Program Integration (15%)

  • Participate in NPI reviews and program milestones to ensure production readiness and proper change integration.
  • Ensure NPI changes are aligned with current production constraints and factory capabilities.
  • Coordinate transition of new models or changes from development into stable production.
  • Identify and mitigate risks early during NPI to prevent downstream production disruptions.

Deviation Management & Control (15%)

  • Own deviation process from initiation through closure ensuring proper evaluation approval and execution.
  • Champion deviation trial runs and validate effectiveness prior to full implementation.
  • Ensure deviations are controlled documented and do not introduce unintended quality or production risks.
  • Partner with Quality and Engineering to transition temporary deviations into permanent solutions when appropriate.

Stakeholder Communication & Influence (10%)

  • Serve as the voice of change control in production and NPI forums.
  • Influence project leaders and cross-functional teams to implement changes correctly and on time.
  • Communicate status risks and readiness clearly to plant leadership.
  • Drive alignment between program timing and factory execution realities.

What Youll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality or product engineering in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong understanding of change control NPI processes and production systems.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering Manufacturing and Quality teams.
  • Proven problem-solving project management and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Preferred:

  • Experience with QMS tools (Windchill Agile) and ERP systems (Oracle SAP).
  • Knowledge of Proficy FIS or manufacturing execution systems.
  • Experience with APQP PPAP and structured quality processes.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
  • Experience in appliance or similar high-volume manufacturing industries.
  • Experience supporting high-mix or lot size of one production environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with daily interaction on factory floor.
  • Frequent walking in a manufacturing plant environment.
  • Use of required PPE in designated areas.
  • Less than 10% of domestic travel.
  • Occasional off-shift or weekend support during major change implementations.
