We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Corporate Credit Analyst to join our fast growing Corporate Clients and Lending (known as Core Lending) business based in London. Rabobank is a purpose led organisation focusing on supporting sustainable food production reducing carbon emissions to achieve our mission of growing a better world together.
The Function & Role:
Core Lending London is responsible for Wholesale Corporate Clients in the UK providing banking facilities to Food & Agri Energy Transition High-Tech and Digital and The Built Environment businesses. The product range includes Corporate Lending Leveraged Lending Value Chain Finance and Derivatives. The team consists of 24 professionals including Senior Relationship Bankers Transactors Credit Analysts and Credit Middle Office with a wide breadth of experience and expertise in our sectors. We thrive on building long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
The role is to support the Core Lending team in appraising the risk profile of new transactions whilst monitoring the risk profile of the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess credit risk and structure credit products including financial modelling ratings returns analysis and business plan evaluation.
Manage client portfolios through annual reviews covenant monitoring periodic financial assessments and earlywarning identification.
Analyse deal structures financials projections management strength and sector dynamics.
Prepare highquality credit submissions and address queries from Senior Risk Officers and approvers.
Support new business through prospect research and collaboration with RMs Product Specialists and Risk teams.
Provide coaching and technical guidance and contribute to deepdive client and sector analysis.
Prioritise workload to meet review cycles approval deadlines and portfolio requirements
Skills & Experience Required:
Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
Solid experience interpreting financial accounts and modelling projections.
Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex information clearly.
A deep knowledge of credit analysis and core structural protections.
A proven track record in managing a portfolio of credit files and delivering highquality credit assessments.
