Job Summary
Basic Job Functions:
This will include:
- Creating construction drawings using our highly specialized software
- Generating and verifying fabrication drawings and reports
- Generating bill of materials for field construction
- Designing and troubleshooting standardized steel framing conditions with project specific requests
- Ensuring a quality product by thorough contract and design coordination
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree with focus in Architecture or Construction Management
- Training or experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software such as Tekla
- Basic knowledge of standard construction practices
- ccredited training certification or professional experience operating Architectural CAD software or 3D Modeling software.
