As a Security Officer Patrol Access Specialist in Columbus OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government airport location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service support access control activities and communicate clearly with travelers visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $20.08 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures government location policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities for public-facing and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or first responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas roadways and perimeter locations to help identify hazards unauthorized activity and/or conditions needing attention.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas verify credentials or permissions when required and help to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with site protocols.
• Assist visitors employees tenants and/or contractors with directions general information and reporting procedures while supporting a professional security-related presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
