Job Description

Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour
Must be 21 years of age
Minimum 3 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or patients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents medical emergencies and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with local responders and site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility entry points parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access to restricted areas verify credentials as directed and report security-related concerns hazards and/or suspicious activity to site leadership.
- Complete required reports and documentation related to patrol activity incidents and/or observations and support follow-up actions in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience or at least 3 years of security experience.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
