**$150000 Commencement Bonus**
MercyOne Clinton has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Oncologist to join a well-established practice located in Clinton Iowa.
The practice is attached to the hospital and currently sees an average of 30 patients per day. New patient visits are allocated 30 minutes and follow-up patients 15 minutes. The selected candidate can expect to split their time 30/70 between Hematology and Medical Oncology. Physicians are supported by four RNs MA CNA and a receptionist. Hospitalists are available to cover infusions if needed. After hour calls are by phone only and are very minimal.
According to the FY22-24 CHNA through a need differential analysis and steering committee input Cancer was found to be one of the top 8 health needs in the MercyOne service area. MercyOne has begun working towards the COC (Commission on Cancer) Accreditation. Onsite Radiation Oncology is an outreach of the University of Iowa.
MercyOne Medical Group has a strong primary care network of providers to provide a steady stream of internal referrals.

Full- time employed opportunity - This position will provide services at the Davenport and Clinton clinics and share call.
Competitive compensation with base guarantee ($800k year 1 $650k year 2 year 3: $600k plus wRVU)
$150000 commencement bonus

Relocation allowance up to $15000

Qualifications
MD or DO
BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology
Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in both Iowa and Illinois
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
