Location: 100% Remote (Open to candidates based in South Africa)
Job Type: Full-Time
Contract Type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Compensation: USD $2800 $3500 per month (based on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to oversee and execute the full sales cyclefrom initial lead engagement through to closingwhile ensuring seamless pipeline management and operational efficiency.
This role operates at the intersection of sales systems and strategy supporting a portfolio of service-based businesses within the financial and professional services space. The ideal candidate is both relationship-driven and technically proficient capable of managing client interactions while optimizing backend sales processes and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution
- Conduct discovery calls sales presentations and follow-up communications with prospective clients
- Manage and own the sales pipeline from lead generation through to deal closure
- Track sales activity identify risks and ensure consistent pipeline progression
- Prepare and send proposals follow-ups and outbound communication sequences
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound leads ensuring a professional and responsive experience
Funnel & Lead Management
- Oversee and maintain the companys website as the primary lead generation channel
- Ensure accurate routing of inbound leads into the appropriate sales pipelines
- Optimize lead capture forms and intake processes to improve user experience and conversion rates
- Monitor funnel performance identify drop-off points and implement improvements
Sales Operations & Systems
- Own and manage CRM systems (HubSpot) including contacts deals workflows and reporting
- Build and optimize automation workflows to improve efficiency and response times
- Maintain clean accurate and up-to-date data across all sales tools
- Collaborate across multiple business lines ensuring alignment and consistency in processes
- Document workflows and develop scalable sales playbooks
Qualifications & Requirements
- Native or near-native English proficiency (written and verbal)
- Minimum of 4 years experience in B2B sales or sales operations
- Proven experience managing CRM systems end-to-end (HubSpot required)
- Demonstrated ability to independently run sales calls and manage a full pipeline
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and integrate new tools quickly
- Experience working with lead generation funnels and website-based intake systems
- Familiarity with tools such as Typeform or similar platforms
- Ability to manage multiple products services or business lines simultaneously
- Highly organized detail-oriented and proactive
Preferred:
- Experience within accounting bookkeeping financial services or related industries
