Job Summary
The Data Engineer at Synechron is responsible for designing developing and maintaining data-driven solutions across diverse technology platforms including mobile cloud IoT and blockchain. This role contributes to organizational objectives by ensuring the seamless integration of emerging technologies optimizing data processes and supporting innovation that drives business growth.
Software Requirements
Required:
Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Java Python ) for data engineering integration and analytics.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) mobile technologies IoT frameworks and blockchain implementations.
Practical knowledge of version control and collaboration tools such as Git JIRA and Confluence.
Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Preferred:
Exposure to multiple mobile or IoT device ecosystems.
Experience with advanced cloud-native services and distributed ledger/blockchain technologies.
Understanding of additional programming languages or scripting tools (Scala Go TypeScript).
Overall Responsibilities
Work closely with cross-functional teams to map business requirements to robust technology solutions.
Develop technical specifications and clear documentation for new features and enhancements.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend their integration.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Resolve complex technical issues and provide support to peers.
Collaborate with QA/testing teams to assure thorough testing and adherence to quality standards.

Industry: Experience in technology-driven environments preferably in financial services or data-centric domains.
Alternative Pathways: Candidates with substantial hands-on experience in high-impact projects involving emerging technologies may be considered.
Proven participation in Agile teams code reviews and cross-functional collaboration.

Attend daily stand-up meetings and actively participate in project planning.
Collaborate with teams to gather requirements design and build technology solutions.
Write test and deploy code and data pipelines.
Review code for quality performance and maintainability.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of technical solutions and processes.
Stay informed about current technology trends and their practical applications.
Provide ongoing technical support and mentorship within the team.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related discipline.
Preferred: Relevant certifications in cloud platforms Agile methodologies or emerging technologies.
