Job description:
We are looking for someone to join our 1st Shift Production Team! As a Trainer you will welcome new operators to our team and help train them on their role! When we do not have new folks our Trainer will work as an Operator helping run machines.
Our 1st shift hours at 7am-3pm but we ask that the trainer arrive early on the days that we have new people starting therefore the hours could be 6am-3:30pm (as needed).
PURPOSE:
My purpose is to train new operators and to set them up for success. When not doing that my purpose is to supply good parts on time to our customers so they will continually grow trust and confidence in me and my organization. I do this because I know our reputation is our most valuable asset. This creates more opportunity for both myself and Stone Plastics and therefore our success is based on how well I perform my primary functions.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Train new people in the role of an Operator
Pack and label Good Parts Correctly
QUALIFICATIONS
- Great communication skills
- Manufacturing experience needed
- Training experience needed
- Enjoys meeting new people
- Plastic Injection Molding experience preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
In this position you will routinely walk and stand for extended periods of time. Specific vision capabilities related to depth perception and color vision are required. You will also be required to lift and carry items weighing less than 25 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The role is carried out on the production floor. The production floor is an industrial manufacturing environment that is at times noisy and fast paced with constant movement of heavy equipment. The indoor climate is seasonably warm during summer months comfortably cool during winter months. Personal protective equipment (PPE) are required for all production floor positions.
Experience:
- Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
- Quality inspection: 2 years (Preferred)
