Location: Arlington VA (2 3 days onsite preferred)
Must be local to Arlington or within commutable distance

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced AEM Engineer to design develop and maintain enterprise-level digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Cloud Service).
This role combines backend (Java/AEM) frontend (HTML/CSS/JS) and CMS architecture to deliver scalable web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop AEM components templates workflows and OSGi services
- Build and maintain AEM-based web applications and integrations
- Create responsive UI using HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript HTL (Sightly)
- Integrate AEM with APIs backend systems and marketing tools
- Work on performance optimization (caching scalability accessibility)
- Debug test and support production environments
- Collaborate with UX QA DevOps and business teams
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Required Skills
- Strong experience with AEMaaCS (AEM as a Cloud Service)
- Hands-on with:
- Java J2EE
- OSGi Sling JCR CRX
- HTL/Sightly
- Frontend: HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript
- Tools: Maven Git
- Experience with:
- AEM components and workflows
- Content lifecycle and metadata
- API and system integrations
Preferred / Nice to Have
- AEM Assets (Top Priority Skill)
- Adobe Marketing Cloud (Target Analytics)
- Integration experience: MuleSoft JWT Azure AD CDN
- Adaptive Forms / HTML5 Forms
- Adobe Certifications (AEM Developer/Architect)
- Banking / Financial Services experience
