Job Summary

Role: Seating Engineer
Location: Raymond OH (Onsite)
Duration: Full-Time

Job Description

Lead the design and development of seating systems using CATIA (V5/V6).

Create 3D models 2D drawings tolerance stack-ups and technical documentation.

Work closely with cross-functional teams: Structures Trim Safety and Manufacturing.

Participate in packaging studies design reviews and feasibility checks.

Support DFMEA DVP&R and regulatory compliance activities.

Drive engineering changes cost reduction initiatives and design optimization.

Coordinate with OEM engineering teams suppliers and testing teams.

Support prototype builds issue resolution and validation activities.

Ensure design meets crash durability NVH ergonomics and safety standards.

Provide on-site or remote support during vehicle integration phases.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Automotive Engineering or related field.

5 7 years of hands-on experience in automotive seating design.

Strong knowledge of CATIA (Part Design Assembly Drafting Surface Design).

Experience working with OEMs (e.g. Ford GM Stellantis Honda Toyota etc.).

Good understanding of GD&T manufacturing processes and DFMEA.

Familiarity with FMVSS/ECE safety regulations for seating systems.

Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Valid US visa is mandatory.
