About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Coupa System Administrator to play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing our newly implemented Coupa platform. As the primary Coupa configuration expert on the team you will take ownership of system administration post-go-live stabilization and ongoing optimization efforts.
  • This is a high-impact role where your expertise will not only drive system integrity and user adoption but also help build internal capability. Youll work closely with Procurement Finance and AP stakeholders to ensure Coupa is delivering value-and share your knowledge to upskill team members enhancing long-term support and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead Coupa system administrator responsible for day-to-day operations and strategic improvements.
  • Provide responsive support to end users (Procurement Finance AP etc.) resolving issues and answering configuration-related queries.
  • Maintain troubleshoot and optimize Coupa configurations (e.g. business rules approval chains chart of accounts suppliers custom fields).
  • Own user onboarding and access provisioning including training and permission setup.
  • Proactively monitor data quality (supplier data catalogs accounting structures) and recommend improvements.
  • Lead or support system change requests testing validation and rollout.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation of processes configurations and best practices.
  • Support reporting and analytics efforts using Coupa dashboards or data extracts.
  • Mentor and upskill internal team members in Coupa administration and configuration to ensure knowledge transfer and long-term sustainability.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 6 years of hands-on experience in a Coupa configuration role.
  • Deep knowledge of Coupa modules including Procure-to-Order(P2O)
  • Experience supporting Coupa in a post-implementation or hypercare environment.
  • Strong understanding of system configuration business rules approval workflows user roles and integration points.
  • Excellent problem-solving documentation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently prioritize effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable leading training or knowledge transfer sessions with non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Coupa integrations with ERP systems (Workday)
  • Experience in change management process documentation or internal training.
  • Coupa certifications (e.g. Coupa Admin Coupa Certified Professional) are a plus.
