JDB Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support and lead the design of electrical systems for commercial manufacturing food processing healthcare hospitality education and corporate facilities.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design for new construction and renovations
Design power distribution lighting grounding emergency power & low voltage systems
Support manufacturing and food process equipment coordination
Prepare construction documents calculations and specifications
Coordinate with mechanical plumbing process architectural and structural teams
Interface directly with clients contractors and vendors
Mentor junior engineers and support QA/QC
Assist with construction administration and field coordination

Qualifications

BSEE or Architectural Engineering degree with 10 years progressive technical experience in a consulting engineering firm
Excellent communication skills and experience in preparation of electrical construction documents client management and project supervision
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Strong knowledge of NEC NFPA and applicable energy codes
Proficiency with Revit and electrical design tools
Controls integration and PLC knowledge a plus
Manufacturing or industrial facility experience a plus
