Top Skills & Years of Experience:
- 5 years of experience in full stack application development.
- 3 years of strong hands-on experience with React for front-end development.
- 5 years of hands-on experience C# including building APIs and server-side logic.
- 5 years of experience in SQL Server.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication is crucial to success and productivity in this role.
- Interview Process: Interviews will be held in-person. Candidates MUST be available for an in-person interview.
- Duration: 1 year with possible extension
- Hybrid: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1 two days a week.
- Candidates must be local to Michigan at time of submission.
About the Project:
Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has applications that are being supported with sunset
technologies. The applications support the compliance security registration and management
of responsible gaming database (problem gamblers) functions within MGCB.
The objective of this project is to modernize the legacy IT applications used by the Michigan
Gaming Control Board (MGCB). This will be achieved by rewriting them using current
supported technologies thereby mitigating risks associated with end-of-life applications and
ensuring ongoing operational support for MGCB business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop robust scalable and maintainable full-stack solutions using modern
frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers DevOps engineers testers and business analysts.
- Ensure clean code practices proper architecture patterns and adherence to
development standards.
- Participate in code reviews agile ceremonies and DevOps deployment processes.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in full stack application development.
- 3 years of strong hands-on experience with React for front-end development.
- 5 years of hands-on experience C# including building APIs and server-side
logic.
- 5 years of experience in SQL Server.
