About the role:

Provides engineering support to the Manufacturing organization to facilitate efficient operations within the production area optimize existing processes and ensure production goals are achieved. This role monitors the performance of equipment machines and tools and resolves equipment and process issues that result in nonconforming product low yield or quality concerns. The position partners closely with Quality and Research and Development to integrate new products and processes into the manufacturing environment.
Work model sponsorship relocation:
This role is on-site in Quincy Massachusetts to support hands-on collaboration and manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Initiate and complete technical activities leading to new or improved products and processes for current and next-generation programs aligned to strategic objectives
Analyze and solve problems using engineering principles theories and concepts applying structured methodologies to address technical challenges
Monitor equipment and process performance identify root causes of nonconforming product or yield loss and implement corrective actions
Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
Incorporate business policies and procedures into task execution while considering customer and operational needs
Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing Quality R&D and other internal stakeholders to support product and process integration
Support the selection onboarding and training of new engineers and employees as needed
Participate on project teams to support defined goals timelines and deliverables
Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all documented quality processes and procedures
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline
Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment
Basic knowledge of engineering theories practices and procedures within manufacturing or production environments
Experience analyzing data and applying structured problem-solving methodologies
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in a regulated industry preferably medical device manufacturing
Familiarity with quality systems and compliance requirements
Experience supporting new product introduction into manufacturing
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional environments

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly) non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
