Ballys Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence currently owning and managing 15 casinos across 10 states a golf course in New York a horse racetrack in Colorado and having access to OSB licenses in 18 states. The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle UK further expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. It also owns Ballys Interactive International formerly Gamesys Group a leading global interactive gaming operator Bally Bet a first-in-class sports betting platform and Bally Casino a growing iCasino platform.
With 10600 employees the Companys casino operations include approximately 15300 slot machines 580 table games and 3800 hotel rooms. Ballys also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.
Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (Queen) the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states one of which will be an additional state that expands Ballys jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees and operations that currently include approximately 2400 slot machines 50 table games and 150 hotel rooms to the Ballys portfolio. Ballys will also become the successor of Queens significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).
The Role:
Responsible for providing luxury suite guests with information and exceptional service to accommodate and ensure a successful visit. He/she will be hospitable and has a sincere desire to provide the best possible service for each guest. Acts in a professional manner. Anticipates as well as expedites organizes as well as implements delegates as well as does. The Butler is most often the first and last point of contact for the guest and is regarded as a true ambassador for the property. Promotes positive guest relations by proving high quality service.
Responsibilities:
Handles guests requests and questions in a professional manner.
Effectively handles cash credit cards gift certificates comps and room charge transactions for services and retail products.
Recommends and up-sells services and products that fit the guests needs.
Ability to describe in an articulate manner the spa offerings and their benefits.
Offers the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive enthusiastic helpful and professional attitude with all guests and team members.
Demonstrates respect sensitivity and concern for guests needs in a professional manner.
Maintains an understanding of the spa industry and spa philosophy (balance relaxation unity and a healthy lifestyle.
Ensures that guests services are started on time.
Maintains a clean safe stocked and well-organized work area.
Follows proper opening and closing procedures.
Assists in the training of new employees.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Excellent personal appearance and ability to present oneself.
Butlers must be prompt courteous and organized honest trusting and trust-worthy friendly but not familiar and reliable.
Highly self-motivated dynamic personality. Excellent human relations skills.
Must be highly flexible and committed to adapt to schedule changes and demands. Food and Beverage experience in hotel industry essential
