The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The PSR ensures that the patient experience is positive and seamless by managing front desk operations and workflows.

Position Details:

Mercy Clinic Lowell

Full Time 40 hrs./Week

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00 PM

Overview:

  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients visitors and healthcare staff.

  • Provides exceptional customer service showing empathy patience and professionalism when addressing questions concerns or requests.

  • Performs accurate data entry scheduling and documentation with strong attention to detail and reliability.

  • Maintains patient confidentiality at all times and adheres strictly to privacy policies and procedures.

  • Utilizes basic computer and office software skills including data entry and word processing.

  • Remains adaptable and composed under pressure effectively managing unexpected situations in a fast-paced clinical environment.

  • Completes required Clinic Core Front Desk Training following hire to ensure competency in front desk operations and workflows.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience: One year of applicable medical office experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Position requires the ability to push pull and/or lift 50 lbs. occasionally.

  • Position requires standing and walking during each shift.

  • Position requires the ability to grip reach bend kneel twist and squat to perform duties.
