Job Description
The Desk Attendant facilitates operations of Dawg Fitness and assists patrons with fitness-related programs.
This position reports to the Fitness Desk Student Manager the Fitness Floor Student Manager and the Fitness Programs Manager.

The University Centers Student Employment Program Wage Classification Scale classifies this position as Division I Range I.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must be eligible for Federal Work-Study at the time of hiring and throughout employment.
Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week during the semester including occasional weekend shifts as necessary. Some working hours during breaks may be available.
Successful applicants must complete Adult CPR AED and First AID certification courses within 8 weeks of beginning employment. Certification sessions will be provided by the University Centers. These certifications must be kept up to date throughout employment with the University Centers. Where applicable Concussion Protocol Training will also be provided by the University Centers and must be completed within the same timeframe.
Successful applicants must also complete mandatory Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance Training within 8 weeks of beginning employment. PCI training will be provided by the University Centers and must be kept up to date throughout employment with the University Centers.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to qualified candidates with at least two semesters remaining at UWSP.
Education
The Desk Attendant must be at least a part-time student (enrolled in a minimum of 6 undergraduate or 5 graduate credits) and be in good academic standing (cumulative and semester GPAs of 2.0 or higher) at the time of hiring and throughout employment.
