Mold Technician - 3rd Shift Hourly/Shift pay: $19.00 differentiation pay
Monday - Thursday - 11:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
Friday - Saturday - 11:00 p.m. - 8:30 a.m.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Mold Technician is an entryâlevel role that requires the ability to communicate effectively with production teams and all support groups. The technician must accurately document all work performed and completed ensuring proper communication and recordkeeping throughout the process.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Perform mold change activities to ensure proper equipment changeovers.
Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately according to specifications and in a timely fashion.
Perform operational procedures to ensure the quality of the product produced.
Identify the proper tooling required for pending production.
Inspect the condition of molds and component parts for damage and wear. Inspect machine conveyer and tools in
department and notify Lead that a maintenance repair form is needed or replacement tools are required.
Assist other maintenance employees with repairs PM installation commissioning and testing of equipment.
Analyze and resolve all issues related to the equipment.
Keep all molds/tools in good and safe condition and ensure molds/tools are returned to their appropriate location.
Ensuring mold is stored in the designated area after the job is completed.
Recommend plan repair modify and fabricate any necessary elements following a problem or a project which may
influence the productivity to improve the production equipment utilities efficiency and reliability.
Assist in maintaining mold locations are up-to-date mold storage is organized and mold locations are kept clean.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
High school diploma GED or equivalent experience is required.
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education training
and experience preferred.
Prior experience operating manufacturing and process control equipment required.
Thermoforming Injection Mold or related machine operator experience preferred.
Required Licenses
Powered Industrial Truck Certifications preferred (Forklift Reach Truck Cherry Picker).
Skills Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is subject to Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force
frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

walking pushing pulling lifting grasping feeling crawling and repetitive motions.
Visual Acuity
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures;
transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects small parts and/or
operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at
distances close to the eyes.
Working Conditions
The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions including heat noise vibration and hazards from a
production-based environment.
