As a Locum Radiologist you will play a critical role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images collaborating closely with our healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities
- Conduct radiological examinations and interpret medical images
- Provide accurate diagnoses and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Engage in multidisciplinary case discussions to optimize patient care
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records
- Participate in continuous professional development and training
- Provide guidance and support to junior medical staff
- Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Associate-level experience in Radiology or relevant medical field
- Strong understanding of radiological techniques and procedures
- Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Schedule: Weekdays (8a-5p) or weekends (8a-5p)
No call required
Setting: On-site or tele
Case Volume: 7-9 RVUs per hour
Cases: On-site mammography tele-diagnostic with neuro focus tele-diagnostic with MSK focus or general tele-diagnostic
Must be board-certified
