Job Summary

Ensure accurate and complete accounting reporting and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are properly maintained.
Ensure that management systems are properly maintained at warehouses.
Assist in the training of colleagues in warehouse management best practices.
Assess the availability of space and prepare stacking/storage plans prior to the arrival of goods.
Supervise the receipt of all arriving consignments.
Monitor the quantity and quality of goods stored.
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts reconciling them with the data storage system.
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Prepare all procedures and necessary steps for commodity disposal.
Produce regular stocks reports and daily stocks positions.
Prepare loading plans and ensure that standard waybills are duly complete.
Arrange transportation for the delivery of orders to customers and regional warehouses.
Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

Requirements

Degree or HND in Purchasing and Supply Supply Chain Management Accounting or other related fields
Must have excellent people management skills
Must have an analytical approach to work
Must have high numeracy and sound technical skills
Must have problem-solving skills and initiative
Must have strong attention to detail and an investigative nature
Must have good time management skills and the ability to prioritize
Must be able to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships
Must be willing to work in any of the regional capitals of the country

Key Competences

Must be computer literate
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (word excel and PowerPoint)

Experience

At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar.
Experience in the FMCG industry will be an advantage
