Overview
We are seeking an experienced Conveyor Systems Project Engineer to support in-plant conveyor initiatives across multiple U.S. sites. This role offers the opportunity to work on dynamic large-scale automotive manufacturing projects collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading suppliers in a fast-paced environment.
Team & Project Scope
- Work within a specialized engineering group focused on in-plant conveyor systems.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams suppliers and stakeholders across body shop and general assembly operations.
- Support key projects that may span multiple Company sites throughout the U.S.
- Team mission: deliver efficient high-quality conveyor solutions that support manufacturing performance and innovation.
- This role is driven by a mix of project-based initiatives and overall workload demand.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage and support conveyor system projects including chain skid and skillet systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams through regular project and supplier meetings.
- Oversee installation integration and troubleshooting of conveyor systems.
- Provide project management support ensuring timelines budgets and deliverables are met.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Typical Work Environment
- High level of team interaction with frequent meetings and collaboration.
- Work primarily within automotive manufacturing plants including body shop and general assembly areas.
- Workload may vary depending on project phase with periods of heavy onsite presence.
- Flexibility required for off-shift work as needed.
Schedule & Duration
- Potential for flexible hours depending on project demands.
- Opportunity for assignment extension based on performance and business needs.
- Participation in Companycontract worker shutdown days with potential work during holidays if required.

Basic Qualifications
