Compensation
- Local Candidates: Up to $2060/week (based on experience)
- Travel Candidates: Up to $2320/week (based on experience)
Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Breast Imaging to join a dynamic clinical team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality breast ultrasound examinations and supporting physicians in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise along with a patient-focused approach to care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic breast ultrasound exams and related procedures
- Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort and optimal imaging results
- Produce high-quality images for accurate physician interpretation
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to established clinical protocols safety standards and infection control guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Assist with additional imaging procedures within scope of practice as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in breast ultrasound imaging
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- ARDMS certification (or equivalent) preferred
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment and imaging techniques
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and compliance
