Job Summary
SGI Global is seeking a Journeyman Software Programmer to support USSOCOM J8-S software programming database development analysis support and tool development in support of analytic models and decision-support capabilities. This role supports development and maintenance of mission systems used in analytical and planning processes.
*Contingent on contract award*
Responsibilities
- Support programming and development tasks for J8-S analytical and technical mission requirements
- Support software programming database development analysis support and mission-related tool development consistent with the SOW requirements for programmers
- Assist with software development coding testing refinement and related development activities in support of models and tools used by J8-S
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen.
- 5 years of experience in software programming
- 3 years of experience (can be concurrent with the 5 years above) in programming and database development using various development languages or frameworks such as: .Net/JAVA/JavaScript/Python/R
- 2 years of experience (can be concurrent with the 5 years above) working in Visual Studio development suite
- 1 year of experience in performing analysis such as:
- Performing database queries and export data from various databases.
- Performing stochastic and risk analysis
- Developing mathematical programming formulations to optimize deterministic models
- Using software tools to visualize data for SPP decision makers
- 1 year of experience (can be concurrent with the 2 years above) using communication skills both written and oral to include preparation of written products for senior leader (general officer/flag officer/senior executive service level) use and the ability to communicate at all levels in a highly professional manner
- Baseline and Privileged Use Certified Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I; IAT Level II must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
- Top Secret Clearance desired but must possess a current DoD Secret clearance and be upgradable to Top Secret within 4 months and eligible for SCI access and ACCM read-on.
