metals derivativesfranchise while also supporting business development across thephysical precious metals Spotecosystem.
You will focus on international institutional corporate and trading clients active in gold production refiningandtrading positioning the exchange as a leading venue forprice discovery hedging and liquidityin gold and related precious metals.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a sales strategy to grow trading volumes and open interest in listed commodity derivativeswhilst being knowledgeable of Spotprecious trading.
- Identify onboard and manage relationships with key client segments.This role will focus on precious metals clients such as trading firms bullion banks fundsminersrefinersand other related bullion related traders across the physical precious metals value chain.
- Analyse client activity market share and competitive landscape toidentifygrowth opportunities.
- Understand client hedging trading and investment needs and propose solutions using listed derivatives.Collect and distribute feedback internally viaHubspotplatform and presentation regular business updates to management
- Ongoing relationship management and education to clients on Abaxx pricing and solutions leading to transactional revenueon derivatives adoption.
- Contribute to marketing campaigns webinars roadshows and industry events to raise the profile of the exchanges commodity franchise.
- Work closely withOnboarding teamsto ensure a seamless client experience from onboarding through live trading.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Engineering or related field; a masters degree or professional designation (e.g. CFA FRM CAIA) is an advantage.
- Typically510 years of experience ingold derivatives and/or physical precious metalssales trading brokerage or risk management preferably at:
- An international derivatives exchange FCM/broker bullion bank investment bank or trading house.
- Gold futures and options margining clearing and market microstructure
- Physical precious metals markets includinggood deliverystandards refining and assay vaultinglogistics pricing conventions and key benchmarks.
- Demonstratedtrack recordof building and managing institutional and corporate client relationships and meeting or exceeding commercial targets.
- Major gold and precious metals tradingcentersand benchmarks (e.g. LBMA COMEX key Asian venues)
- The interaction between physical OTC andexchange tradedmarkets.
