Schedule:
- Day Shift: Monday Friday
- 08:00 AM 05:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join a busy outpatient cardiology clinic. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced high-volume clinical environment and have hands-on experience supporting cardiac care and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform EKGs and assist with cardiology-related procedures
- Administer injections and prescribed medications
- Monitor and document vital signs including blood pressure
- Conduct point-of-care (POC) testing
- Assist physicians with patient care in a clinical setting
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Support daily workflow in a high-volume outpatient clinic
Float Requirement
- Travel 12 times per week to nearby clinic locations within the Dallas area
Required Qualifications
- Active LVN License
- Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient clinic experience (within the last 3 years)
- Hands-on experience with EKGs and cardiology-related procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in urgent care or similar outpatient settings
Required Skills
- EKG performance and support
- Medication administration and injections
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Point-of-care (POC) testing
- Strong clinical and patient communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Additional Notes
- Outpatient/clinic experience is required
- Experience in SNF LTC Rehab Home Health Corrections or Behavioral Health settings will not be considered
- Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) may be considered (rate based on experience)
- Large high-volume clinic setting
