Job Summary
The ICS (technology) department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is in need of an intern to help its Change and Engagement team with departmental communications along with certain aspects of event management. This team oversees communications change management events/gathering data and insights and digital and workplace strategy for the ICS Department. This intern will spend the majority of his/her time focused on communications but also be involved in other facets of the work this team does most especially the gathering and events work. This is an ideal internship for someone desiring experience in communications or event management.
Responsibilities
Work with our communications manager to develop broad department communications strategies
Write newsletter articles intranet content leader emails etc.
Help design flyers posters newsletter and intranet content
Work with our events team to support all major ICS events
Lead on supporting some smaller team and division events
Work with our team Director to facilitate strategy
Work one day a week in the office (typically Tuesdays) and at other times as needed
Qualifications
Interns must be currently enrolled at an accredited school or within one year of their graduation date.
