Compensation Rate: $15.00/hr
We have a rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic forward-thinking professional for our Busch Gardens Tampa Bay & Adventure Island Design & Engineering Team.
- Assists the Design & Engineering (D&E) team with project work including:
- Maintaining Park drawings electronic drawing filesand assistwith sourcing of drawing and design details as requested.
- Maintain project files and records.
- Assist Project Management teams intracking multiple capital projects to ensure budgets and deadlines are met.
- Assist inpreparing project invitation to bid/RFQs contract documents and contractor bid breakdowns for assigned projects.
- Coordinate minorproject work and communication between Tampa D&E Team and others within the park.
- Supporting work for assigned projects including site walk-throughs and facility assessments field coordination quality control attending contractor meetings attending design review meetings.
- Administrative reports correspondence participationin park compliance and safety and other training.
- Coordinate Park access documents for contractors working on property.
- Sketch projects within AutoCAD as needed.
- Create as-built plans within spaces for the park.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned such as:
- Entering and tracking of capital authorization requests
- Identifies assets that are affected by capital spending and documents removal/impairment.
- Assist with capital requisitions.
- Ensure lien waiver compliance with contractors and subcontractors.
- Submit weekly reports and participate in weekly D&E meeting.
- Maintain strict adherence to United Parks & Resorts Inc. Capital Projects Controls and Procedures as well as all applicable construction codes and building standards.
- Engage and coordinate the efforts of internal resources including SEA Environmental Legal Safety Engineering Sourcing Revenue and others as needed to complete assigned projects.
- This position reports to park D&E Leadership
- Perform other duties as assigned.
