As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Badge Verification in San Jose CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. As a Residential Patrol Officer with Allied Universal you will drive and patrol assigned areas helping to promote a secure and welcoming environment for residents guests and staff. This role includes routine patrols maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and delivering strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents guests and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with property contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings common areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
• Monitor entrances exits and amenity areas verify visitor and contractor access as directed by site policies and report suspicious activity hazards and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support a professional residential environment by assisting with routine security-related requests providing directions and information and maintaining accurate activity logs incident reports and shift handoff notes.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state county or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
