Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Control Guard in Rogers MN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic logistics and distribution location where you will help manage access control monitor entry and exit activity and support a professional welcoming presence. This role combines strong communication customer service and security-related awareness to help protect daily operations. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor entrances exits gates and visitor or driver check-in points to help support authorized access to the location including verification of credentials badges manifests and/or delivery documentation as required by site procedures.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observed activity and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility shipping and receiving areas trailer yards parking areas and perimeter as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Assist with traffic flow at entry and exit points for employees visitors vendors and/or freight carriers while following post orders and helping to support an orderly operation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
