About You
You are someone who enjoys solving complex problems and working in live environments. You are comfortable navigating existing systems troubleshooting issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure application stability and performance.
You are proactive detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication with both technical teams and client stakeholders.
You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience with Java / Java EE and Spring / Spring Boot.
- Working knowledge of Angular / AngularJS for UI fixes and enhancements.
- Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle databases (queries debugging troubleshooting).
- Familiarity with JBoss or Apache application servers.
- Experience working with AWS (monitoring deployments or troubleshooting in cloud environments).
- Knowledge of Linux commands and Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk or New Relic.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Strong analytical skills attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
- Exposure to Groovy PHP or legacy systems. (Nice to have)
- Advanced English proficiency is required as you will work directly with US-based clients.
You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the support ticket queue and production alerts.
- Investigate troubleshoot and resolve application incidents.
- Participate in operational and control calls with client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Dev QA and DevOps teams to identify root causes and implement long-term fixes.
- Support deployment processes and validate post-release stability.
- Contribute to performance improvements automation initiatives and system optimization.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of issues and technical resolutions.
