IT Team Lead
Job Summary
Main Goals
- Maintain internal IT architecture and data center infrastructure
- Maintain robust scalable and secure IT systems and networks to support uninterrupted business operations
- Provide end user IT support including IT equipment and account management
- Support development and delivery of IT business applications
- Education of end users
Main Tasks
- Oversee the physical environment housing IT equipment
- Monitor and report on the performance of internal IT systems
- Keep asset inventories of IT equipment and systems up to date
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams during equipment design and maintenance
- Provide support and maintenance for user devices and workstations
- Supervise system health and take timely corrective actions when needed
- Establish and monitor backup and restore processes
- Reporting on the performance of IT infrastructure
- Define and maintain software tools that support efficient operations
- Manage user expectations and provide responsive support
- Operate within a ticketing system and meet defined SLA response times
- Create and update technical documentation
- Promote knowledge sharing within the team and across departments
- Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency
- Handle internal IT escalations and coordinate resolutions
- Contribute to budget planning and resource allocation within the IT domain
- Develop work schedules and timelines for IT-related tasks
- Propose and document initiatives to enhance existing systems and processes
- Participate in onboarding and offboarding processes
- Manage internal IT accounts and access controls
Qualifications :
Education
- Bachelors or Masters degree in some of Technology domains or equivalent in working experience.
Experience
- 2 years in system administration
- 2 years in providing IT support services
- Team lead experience is an advantage.
- Experience in multi-entity and cross-border setting is an advantage.
Professional Skills
- Understanding typical technologies in an enterprise IT environment focusing on Windows understanding of Linux Azure Network Cisco technologies FortiNet Backup technologies etc
- Understanding ITSM
- Understanding multilayered approach to cyber security in corporate organizations
- Budgeting and Resource Planning
Preferred Skillset for the Position
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Passion for cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
- Fluent in English and Croatian; additional languages are a plus.
- AI enthusiast.
