What Makes This Role Unique
Relief veterinarians at most practices still carry the full weightthe callbacks the follow-up lists the administrative details that were never really yours. Thats not how we do it.
Here you are a doctor. Full stop.
- You see appointments perform exams make diagnostic and treatment plans and do surgery and dentals (dont like surgery and dentals no problem)
- Client follow-up and administrative detail stay with the permanent teamnot you
- Your task list is lean by design so your headspace stays on medicine
- A personal assistant supports your appointmentschecking in and checking out clients and monitoring your flow throughout the day
- We stay on schedule so you walk out on time every shift
- You are not expected to cover every vacancyyou have ample room in your schedule for the time off youve earned
Qualifications :
Your Schedule: Flexible by Design
Your schedule will shift depending on where coverage is neededbut it will always work within your life not against it. Were open Monday through Friday only. No weekends. No on-call. No emergencies pulling you in on your days off.
What you can count on:
- MondayFriday only no weekend shifts ever
- You are not obligated to fill every open shiftyour time off is protected
- 5 weeks of PTO annually
- 30 hours of CE per year covered
- $2500 CE allowance to invest in your continued growth
- Hospital closes 2 hrs/week for rounds and trainingyoure always in the loop never out of it

Each hospital is powered by three integrated teamsthe Customer Experience Team (CET) Technicians (TT) and Veterinary Assistants (VA)all working in sync to make sure every appointment runs smoothly and every patient gets top-notch care. You step in you do the medicine and the team handles the rest.
Who You Are
- DVM or equivalent with an active New Hampshire veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Confident and adaptableyou walk into new environments and hit the ground running
- Proficient in general medicine surgery and dentistry (surgery and dental optional)
- Experience with avian and exotic species is a welcome bonus not a requirement
- A clear communicator who works well with teams youve never met before
- Reliable and accountableyou show up you do the work and you do it well
- A great attitude because culture matters and kindness travels with you from hospital to hospital
