Purpose of the role
As Centre Manager for IPC Shopping Centre you will lead the overall commercial operational and people performance of the centre. You will translate business strategy into clear execution ensuring strong financial performance operational excellence and a compelling customer and tenant experience while strengthening the long-term value and relevance of the asset.
You will also act as an ambassador for the meeting place building trusted relationships with tenants authorities partners and the community.
Responsibilities of the role
You will be responsible to lead and develop IPC Shopping Centre towards sustainable performance and long-term growth in line with the commercial direction our values and business goals:
- Lead and develop the centre management team fostering ownership accountability and collaboration to build a strong performance culture.
- Translate business strategy into a clear centre business plan driving initiatives that strengthen visitation commercial performance and long-term asset value.
- Steer leasing and marketing directions to optimise tenant mix footfall brand positioning and commercial opportunities including partnerships and ancillary income.
- Ensure operational excellence across the meeting place securing strong facilities management safety maintenance and customer experience while ensuring preventive maintenance and sustainable asset performance.
- Deliver strong financial results through disciplined budget management forecasting and cost control while ensuring compliance with statutory safety and governance requirements.
- Act as the centre ambassador building trusted relationships with tenants authorities partners and the community to strengthen the centres reputation and relevance.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation strengthening the meeting place experience while supporting long-term growth of the asset.
Qualifications :
- Masters or Bachelors Degree in Management Business Marketing or other business-related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in shopping centres retail or commercial real estate environments.
- Strong understanding of leasing strategy retail dynamics and tenant mix planning.
- Solid experience managing P&L budgeting and financial performance.
- Good understanding of the property and retail industry and an understanding of current and future markets customers and performance.
- Good knowledge of shopping centre operations including facilities management safety and statutory compliance.
- Possess good contacts and networking with local and international retailers and brand owners.
- Proven ability to lead teams develop people and build a strong performance culture.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across diverse partners.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial judgement and execution discipline.
