Job Summary

WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:

Supervising the day-to-day operations of a busy catering environment focusing on team members roles
Support daily operations
Monitoring the training needs of the team and supporting where needed
Hold team meetings on a regular basis to communicate targets standards required and company and client information
Work with the Location Managers budgets; achieve and maintain Health & Safety and Food Standards in accordance with the budget and standards of BaxterStorey
Develop and evolve all clients services at the location ensuring regular adjustments and improvements are both recommended and implemented
Complete weekly stock takes
Take and manage event bookings where required
Assist with opening and closing procedures. Ensure that all units are prepared for daily operations and securely closed at the end of the day.
Handle cash and banking.

Qualifications :

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

You thrive on getting the best out of people and maximising commercial opportunities
You draw satisfaction from managing training and supporting a team
You provide a professional catering service ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Client expectations are met
Have experience in a Supervisor role ideally in contract catering or hospitality
Good understanding of report writing and financial management.
Possess excellent supervisory and communication skills
Good delegation and influencing skills
Able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem-solving
Have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
Must have good written and spoken English
