About the Team
The Know Your Customer Operations is the central team which conducts Anti Money Laundering checks and supports the due diligence requirements for the Group. The verification of client / customers is undertaken to mitigate the reputational risks/financial losses that might occur by conducting business with fraudulent clients hence requiring a lot of data reporting and analysis.
About the role
The Management Information (MI) Analyst is required to perform frequent repeatable operational reporting testing and technical maintenance activities to support the data strategy in the long term. With a growing business landscape the role also requires multidimensional accurate data support for global regions as well as support for the multigeneration plan for technology changes in the Know Your Customer (KYC) Operations domain.
The role enables the incumbent to strategically prioritize the departments workload and aid decisionmaking. It supports the daytoday operations of the department coordinating with internal colleagues who require information from the data processed and analysed.
Principal Duties
Generate and distribute management reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Deliver and manage key monthly reporting metrics for the Know Your Customer (KYC) Operations Team for internal and external stakeholders in line with the prescribed strategy and direction from leadership. Analyze and interpret data and provide key insights and recommendations.
Participate in crossfunctional and stakeholder meetings to discuss reporting performance and issues and incorporate necessary feedback. Keep the reporting structure agile.
Provide support and maintenance to existing Management Information Systems.
Perform data collation as required for example Management Information reviews Human Resources and Information Technology and preserve historical data with accuracy.
Develop Management Information System documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance.
Implement planned work transition projects.
Ensure team adherence to various compliance mandates from a Management Information perspective.
Contribute to Operating Expenditure initiatives by analyzing business information to identify process improvements that increase business efficiency and effectiveness.
Build and sustain an effective capacity forecasting model.
Proactively support key initiatives that have been delivered to implement change.
Participate in and contribute to meetings with relationship managers internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
