About the role
As a Mechanical Engineer at Babcock youll apply your technical expertise to deliver practical high-quality engineering solutions that support the delivery of our products and services. Youll play a key role in supporting refurbishment activities resolving configuration and design challenges and ensuring that technical outcomes are achieved on time within budget and to the highest standards.
In this role youll be hands-on with a variety of engineering tasks from conducting technical investigations and configuration control surveys to supporting set-to-work testing and trials. Youll contribute to the creation and maintenance of accurate technical documentation ensuring that knowledge and insights are captured effectively throughout the engineering lifecycle. Your work will directly influence product performance reliability and safety across critical programs.
About you
Youre a detail-oriented engineer who enjoys problem-solving and applying mechanical discipline knowledge to real-world challenges. You have a solid understanding of design analysis manufacturing and support techniques and youre comfortable making sound engineering decisions within your technical domain. You take pride in delivering precise compliant and innovative solutions while maintaining a strong focus on product safety and continuous improvement.
Collaboration and professional growth are important to you you enjoy sharing knowledge learning from others and contributing to process improvements across teams.
