The SME advises senior DoD leadership on acquisition strategy integration interoperability and modernization efforts ensuring alignment with Department-wide policies statutory requirements and the AI2 mission to accelerate capability Responsibilities:Serve as a recognized technical authority on DoW acquisition policy processes and lifecycle management in support of AI2 and refine acquisition strategies acquisition pathways program documentation and governance materials for major programs under OUSW(A&S).Analyze and interpret requirements from Title 10 DoD 5000-series policies middle-tier acquisition (MTA) software acquisition pathway (SWP) and adaptive acquisition framework (AAF) to guide program offices and expert guidance on requirements integration capability development interoperability considerations and system-of-systems acquisition in-depth reviews of program schedules cost estimates risk analyses acquisition documentation contracting approaches and milestone white papers policy recommendations decision memoranda (DMs) and senior leader briefing materials to support the AI2 in cross-functional working groups including Joint Staff Services and OSW stakeholders ensuring alignment across enterprise acquisition mentorship and technical leadership to junior acquisition professionals on the contractor :Required:Extensive knowledge of DoW acquisition processes statutory requirements and the Adaptive Acquisition ability to advise SES-level and Flag/General Officer-level experience supporting OSW or Service-level acquisition analytical ability to evaluate complex programs requirements and integration communication skills with experience developing senior-ready briefs and decision stakeholder engagement and government-facing communication excellent communication skills a high level of integrity critical thinking and leadership courage. Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills; proficient in MS Teams Excel and Outlook application skills Preferred:Masters degree.15 years acquisition and program management experienceDAWIA/DAWIA-equivalent certification in Program Management Engineering or Contracting (Practitioner/Advanced).Previous experience with Office of the Secretary of War Joint Staff and Military Department policies and procedures Requirement:Active TS/SCI security Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
