Position: Bilingual Traditional Chinese STEM Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $38$43/hour
Duration: 36 months
Commitment: Minimum 20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Design and optimize STEM-based prompts in Traditional Chinese and/or English with multiple constraints and scientifically accurate instructions.
- Define and document evaluation standards with comprehensive rubrics that ensure scientific rigor and linguistic clarity.
- Conduct model testing and grading by running prompts through AI models and assessing outputs for scientific accuracy and reasoning quality.
- Support benchmarking and quality assurance by collaborating in QA review processes to maintain consistency and reliability across Traditional Chinese-language benchmarks.
- Ensure scientific precision and maintain clear natural phrasing consistent with academic conventions in Hong Kong or Taiwan.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Native-level fluency in Traditional Chinese (written) specifically native to Hong Kong or Taiwan.
- Strong reading and writing proficiency in English.
- BS or BA in Biology Physics or Chemistry.
- Familiarity with undergraduate-level biology physics or chemistry topics.
- Strong writing and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred
- 2 years of experience in teaching research or an applied STEM discipline.
- Experience working with academic terminology specific to Hong Kong or Taiwan educational standards.
