Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics and supply chain management with a strong understanding of shipping and distribution processes. The Logistics Administrator will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the movement of goods managing inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods including tracking shipments updating delivery schedules and resolving any issues that may arise. - Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records. - Communicate with suppliers warehouse staff and transportation companies to ensure timely delivery of goods. - Prepare and process shipping documentation including bills of lading and customs paperwork. - Assist with the planning and execution of logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. - Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and provide regular reports to management. - Monitor and analyze transportation costs and identify areas for cost savings. - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing logistics activities. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management or a related field. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management. - Strong understanding of shipping and distribution processes. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing logistics activities. Contract Details: This is a full-time permanent position based in Johannesburg South Africa. The Logistics Administrator will work Monday to Friday during regular business hours.
