Job Title:First Aid Attendant

Compensation: $25
About the Role
A Few Good Lads is seeking an experienced First Aid Attendant to support active construction sites in Vancouver. This role is critical in maintaining a safe work environment by providing immediate medical response promoting safety practices and supporting site compliance.
The ideal candidate will have prior on-site experience strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm and act quickly in emergency situations
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid treatment and emergency response on construction sites
- Maintain and manage first aid supplies equipment and treatment areas
- Complete all required incident reports and documentation accurately
- Monitor site safety and report hazards or unsafe conditions
- Support site safety meetings toolbox talks and safety initiatives
- Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and company safety policies
- Coordinate with supervisors and emergency services when required
Requirements
- Valid First Aid Certification (OFA Level 1 2 or 3)
- Previous experience working as a First Aid Attendant on construction sites
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety procedures and emergency response
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in high-pressure situations
- Physically capable of working on active construction sites
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on large-scale construction or industrial sites
- Additional safety certifications (SiteReadyBC CSTS WHMIS)
Work Conditions:
This is a full-time role typically Monday to Friday (40 hours/week). Job sites are located within Calgary. Reliable transportation to and from sites is expected.
Overtime may be offered based on project needs and is paid according to provincial labour laws.
