What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors drivers vendors and employees by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and shipment-related authorizations and help to deter unauthorized access to the location yard and/or receiving areas.
- Document visitor contractor and vehicle activity maintain required logs and reports and communicate security-related concerns policy violations and/or unusual activity to site contacts and supervisors.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following post orders and coordinating with onsite personnel and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around access points parking areas trailer yards and the perimeter noting security-related issues operational hazards and/or maintenance concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
