Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Support Java Engineer with strong technical analytical and communication skills to support mission-critical applications in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing production systems resolving high-severity incidents within strict SLAs and leading root cause analysis to ensure long-term stability. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and the flexibility to work in a shift-based support model.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited institution is lieu of formal education three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered for each year of education.
- Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Plano TX or Charlotte NC or be willing to relocate. This position may require travel to project locations.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without the need for employer-sponsored visa support. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
- A minimum of 4 years of Information Technology experience is required.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Splunk and Dynatrace in production and L2/L3 support environments including monitoring alerting troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Experience designing configuring and maintaining Splunk and Dynatrace dashboards is preferred.
- Hands-on experience using Dynatrace and Splunk for application performance monitoring log analysis and troubleshooting in production environments
- Strong experience across relational and NoSQL database platforms including Oracle MySQL Cassandra and MongoDB in production environments
- Extensive hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting for automation monitoring and production issue resolution
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications in a production environment
- Strong experience with Grafana and SiteScope for system and infrastructure monitoring combined with expertise in managing CRON-based batch and scheduled jobs in production environments
- Familiarity with Autosys (preferred)
- Ability to read and analyze Java code for troubleshooting
- Experience performing root cause analysis
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow
- Hands-on experience with BMC Remedy
- Solid knowledge of ITIL Incident Problem and Change Management processes within enterprise support environments
- Strong communication and Analytical skills
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
