Job Summary

Essential Functions

Summary:

ThePaintHelper willberesponsibleforassistingthepaint departmentwith various position willassistwith the preparation application and cleanup ofcommercialpaint projects.

Accountabilities:

Assistwith the execution ofpaintingunder the supervision of more experienced staff

Perform basicpaint skills such asmasking application scraping sanding and cleaning

Make sure each building is sealed and weatherproof

Examineany painted surfaces for defects and help touch up or correct any imperfections as needed

Maintain tools and equipment used while alsomaintaininga clean workspace

Followall safety guidelines and regulations including the proper use of PPE such as gloves goggles masks and respirators to ensure a safe working environment

Other job-related responsibilities as assigned.

Required Knowledge/Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalentis desired OR any combination of education and experience thatdemonstratesthe ability to perform the job duties (required)

Have reliable attendance berespectfuland responsible at work.

Ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position

Ability to effectively interact and communicate with individuals at all organizational levels in a professional respectful manner

Ability to carryproduct equipment and tools up to 50 pounds and push or pullproductup to 100 pounds

Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment requiring the employee tostoop kneel or crouch throughout an 8-to-10-hour day

Prioritize safety when performing tasks and producing a quality product in an efficient and productive manner to meet production schedule

Ability to reason and apply principles of logic to a wide range of factors whenmonitoringand working on jobs

Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks.

Adhere to safety protocols andmaintaina clean and organized environment promoting a culture of safety and compliance.

Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environmentrequiringthe employee to stand stoop kneel or crouch throughout an 8-to-10-hour day.

Strength to carry product equipment and tools up to 50 pounds and push or pull product up to 100 pounds.

Ability towork inboth indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
