We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Systems & Data Engineering Intern to join our Manufacturing Engineering team for Summer 2026. In this role you will support the implementation and optimization of Oracle ERP systems develop business performance dashboards and help structure manufacturing data to enable effective planning and reporting. This position offers hands-on experience working with enterprise systems data analytics tools and cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the development and deployment of KPI dashboards using Power BI to drive business performance tracking and accountability across operations
- Assist in preparing and structuring Oracle ERP data to enable effective MRP (Material Requirements Planning) deployment
- Analyze and improve Oracle metadata to ensure accuracy consistency and usability across business units
- Leverage MES (Manufacturing Execution System) data to support customer quality reporting and internal performance tracking
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering Planning and IT teams to align data structures and reporting requirements
- Assist in integrating data across systems (Oracle MES Snowflake) using SQL and APIs where applicable
- Document processes data structures and dashboard usage to support long-term sustainability
- Present a final project summarizing contributions insights and recommendations at the end of the internship
Education & Experience
- Education Level Required: Bachelors
- Rising Junior (completed 2 years by start)
- Majors: Data Analytics Information Systems
- Relevant coursework or experience in data analysis databases or enterprise systems is a plus
- Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date.
Skills & Other Requirements
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel SQL or Power BI
- Interest in enterprise systems such as Oracle ERP or MES platforms
- Basic understanding of data structures databases or APIs preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management
Additional Information
Internship Duration: 10 14 weeks

Working Conditions
- This role will be based on-site in Newark DE.
Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or in meetings.
- Use of hands and fingers for typing writing and handling documents.
- Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
